Responding to media queries near his residence in Sadashivanagar on Monday, Shivakumar mentioned that observers from Delhi would also be present at the meeting scheduled for January 19th. Discussions would focus on the selection process for the district secretary, considering the reported preferences for certain candidates. He emphasized the need to expedite the selection of candidates.

Quick Appointment of Corporation Board: When asked about the quick appointment of the corporation board, especially considering the upcoming festive season of Sankranti, Shivakumar stated that the announcement of the corporation board’s appointment could happen anytime. However, he clarified that there is no guarantee of an immediate release of the list. He pointed out the practical challenges and emphasized that decisions would be made based on the assurances given to individuals during the election period.
