ISKCON TEMPLE IN BANGALORE 

ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) in Bengaluru is one of the largest of its kind in India. Inaugurated in 1997 by former President of India, Sri. Shankar Dayal Sharma, the Krishna temple is a mixture of the contemporary and the spiritual. This massive cultural complex, built on a hillock, with granite, marble, and Korean glass, was established to promote Vedic culture and spiritual learning. The temple houses various deities, including Krishna, Balaram, and Radha. Another major attraction of the temple, the annual chariot procession, draws a large number of devotees.

Shrines: Radha and Lord Krishna are the main deities in ISKCON Temples. Other shrines at ISKCON Bengaluru are Krishna & Balarama, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu & Nithyananda Prabhu, Prahlada Narasimha, Srila Prabhupada, and Srinivasa Govinda.

Temple Visiting Hours : Weekdays: 7.15 AM to 1 PM, 4.15 PM to 8.20 PM, Weekends: 7.15 AM till 8.30 PM. Photography is NOT allowed inside temple premises and a modest dress code is recommended. Locker rooms are available to store bags and cameras.

How to reach ISKCON Temple: The Temple is 33 km from Bengaluru airport and just 7 km from Kempegowda Bus Station and Bengaluru city railway station. From here Bengaluru Metro Rail Greenline can be taken to reach Rajaji Nagara (Mahalakshmi stop, 700 meters from Temple).
